Game Modes are the types of games found in Mushroom Kingdom Showdown. In v1.0, there are four main game modes.

Solo Modes[]
- Classic Mode - An arcade mode, where the player must fight multiple enemies, partake in two round of Target Smash, and battle against Giga Bowser. Based of a mode of the same name from the Super Smash Bros. series.
- Target Smash! - Also known as Break the Targets. You must break all the targets scattered around large maps.
- Takedown - Fight a series of computer players and replenish health between each battle. This mode is similar to All-Star Mode from the Super Smash Bros. series.
